tried it on Sunderland and it is a very good tactic. However, defence tends to be shaky as it is very prone to counter attacks by the opposing team.

Tried this with bayern vs werder....

this will make you laugh....

Unknown to me at start of match lahm was set to striker and podolski was set to wingback....

however we had a 4-0 lead at halftime...dont ask me how lol

Just before the whistle i noticed lahm up front after a wonderful killer ball from veloso.

so at half time i changed them, yep you guessed it, it went downhill.....werder scored 4 goals my team were making silly mistakes, passing like a sunday school team....still havent figured out why.

the only sub i did at half time was take kacar off for breno (kacar had a yellow card)

as for the tactic, my players arent that great but it looks like it works apart from that halftime error...however it happened.

Give this tactic time and you'll see wonders! Pacey defenders are a great plus though!

was fine at half time...4-0 up

Ok maybe someone can let me know if this should be happening as part of the tactic purpose because its happened 5 times now.

the right side striker and the left side wingback are swapping with each other....anyone else had this?

Default franky's new formation

Hey franky! ...Ive been a fan of you formations for a while! I am a big fan of the old man utd one you had united 94? ...(With the 3 formations)

I just wondered how this compares to this new blitz formation you have? I know you said this is now the best one,but what has changed? ..The united 94 formation was so strong and reliable! Im scared to change!! ....but very tempted!!

Would love to have your feedback mate and to let me know whats initially different between the 2 different formations/tactics

hope your well mate

speak to ya soon!

Hi Xim,

Yes I get that all the time with Leeds United - go to team instructions click on one of the players that are "swapping" and take off the "swap places with" option, or change the name to e.g. the other striker so at least positionally you will be OK

Happens a lot after substitutions. For example, I want to move my AMR to striker position and bring in a new AMR. When I bring the player in for the striker I want to substitute and then change positions, the "swapping" instruction gets confused.

For anyone wondering about this tactic

The only tweaks I made was using strikers instead of defenders to challenge the keeper just to keep it more realistic as far as the amount of goals is concerned (I was on top of the list "Goals from corners" only 2 times in 9 seasons), and I didn't follow the PPM instructions at all.

So without those tweaks I would probably be even better.

Season 1: Winner of Serie C1/B
Season 2: 2nd in Serie B
Season 3: 12th in Serie A
Season 4: 10th in Serie A
Season 5: 6th in Serie A
Season 6: 2th in Serie A, UEFA cup winner
Season 7: Winner of Serie A
Season 8: Winner of Serie A, Super cup winner, Champions Cup winner
Season 9: Winner of Serie A (25 points ahead of 2nd), European Super cup winner, Champions Cup winner

Respect to Franky it is.
Key fact: High speed players.

I know it's only been out for like 30 minutes now, but I was hoping against hope that you will come up with some version of this tactic for fm10

I didn't play much with the demo, due to work stuff, but now that the full version is out, I just can't wait any longer.... who needs sleep anyway? I can sleep at work!

Brilliant tactic mate.

Started using this halfway through my last season, picked up a bit but was still struggling (playing Swindon in Championship).

However started it from the offset this season and managed to finish 2nd and get promoted.

One thing I have learnt is that team talks are absolutely CRUCIAL!

Thanks again

First match 2-2 at home to Man Utd. Only switched to your tactic at half time.
Scholes 4 ( 0-1 )
Fletcher 44 ( 0-2 )

Switched to Frankys Blitz

Hamsik 47 ( 1-2 )
Toure sent off 77
Balotelli 88

Good result.

Ok Franky been using this for a while now, once I got promoted to Premiership I then got relegated, and finished 2nd the following season to get promoted again.

One thing I have noticed though is since I started using the tactic ive never really had LOADS of chances on goal as suggested.

Ive been following your team talks like youve posted in the thread...

Just wandering if you could tell me if im doing something wrong...

My team consists of this:

DR - Pace:17 Acceleration:17 Work Rate:19 Positioning:15 Tackling:14 Stamina:19

DL - Pace:16 Acceleration:15 Work Rate:17 Positioning:13 Tackling:15 Stamina:16

DC - Jumping:16 Tackling:16 Marking:17 Positioning:17 Strength:16 Work Rate:12

DC - Jumping:16 Tackling:16 Marking:15 Positioning:16 Strength:16 Work Rate:14

AMR - Work Rate:16 Dribbling:16 Flair:15 Finishing:13 Acceleration:14 Pace:16 Technique: 18

AML - Work Rate:15 Dribbling:15 Flair:14 Finishing:14 Acceleration:15 Pace:14 Technique:14

MC - Positioning:12 Passing:18 Marking:12 Team Work:15 Stamina:18 Work Rate:17 Long Shots:14

MC - Positioning:14 Passing:13 Marking:15 Team Work:14 Stamina:18 Work Rate:16 Long Shots:15

ST - Jumping:10 Acceleration:14 First Touch:17 Off The Ball:14 Finishing:16 Composure:14

Any help appreciated. Cheers

Do you have an away tactic for this, its just as Celtic I can dominate ALL Scottish teams home and away, but in Europe only at home.

Is there any possibility of advising or creating an away version, or against bigger teams etc

First off, I just want to say what an awesomely good tactic. Hats off to the creator.

Secondly, just copy all the instructions into FM 2010, set style to fluid attacking and voila. This tactic is just as kick ass.

I'm currently MK dons. I won all my preseason games bar 1 vs blackburn, without conceding a goal, and scoring on average 2 or 3. Most teams didn't get a shot in. In the game versus blackburn, I had more chances and possession, and lost out to a freak goal.

If my CMs and wingers had better finishing / long shots, I would have no doubt won.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Thanks Franky!

This tactic is so good, so many goals for centre backs and always improves attributes of every player i've found. currently top of Championship with Millwall.

I love it. Struggled in the first season with Hamburger SV, but it came good in the second half of it.

Now in the second season I top the table with 2 games to go and just beat Real Madrid in UEFA Cup Semi.

With 7-0.

11-4 aggregate.

Hey thanks Franky my struggling Walsall team have really pulled their socks up and for the first time I'm enjoying watching them play. They don't meet the attributes but they're still over achieving. Also I'm not so hot on technical stuff. How do I unzip the file. Thanks again.

Question bloody useless

ive tried this tactic for the last 5 games doing exactly what you said and ive
lost 1-0 to everton
drew 1-1 to middlesborough
won 3-0 to zenit st petersburg (only win)
drew 2-2 to man city
and drew 1-1 to aston villa
with man united with an extremely strengthened squad with players like
sergio aguero, andriy arshavin, anatoliy tymoshuk, andres guardado and cristian zapata
