Any tips on playing in Wales? Ive got a save a Neath AFC and allthough there a mid table team, me and everyone else in the leauge tend to end up in the - 50k Area at the end of every season, ive tried loads of ways of keeping the money spending down, but none of it works well enough
Thanks Guys |

I've just started a save with Neath also.
I'm only half way through the first season and I'm worrying about the finances much as there is nothing you can do until you get into European competitions. Unless you sell all your talent, which probably won't make much of a dent. |

I've always wanted to play as my hometown Barry Town, and will do so on next year's version with the ability to add leagues.
It must be very tough managing in Wales, and a long game but it will be very rewarding when you get succes! Stick with it.

Aye, I've brought six new players but I can't remember most of them of the top of my head apart from Michael Noone whose is doing wonders on the right wing.

I started a TNS game awhile ago and I'm currently in my 7th season, In the first few seasons i found it fairly easy to make a profit over the season and in the 4th season i got really lucky and beat Anderlect in the qualifying round 3 for the champions league and last season made it to the euro cup groups so that's put me on a very good financial footing.
In my 6 season so far I've won the league all 6 times with only 1 unbeaten season which was the one just gone. I've won the last 4 welsh cups and last years Welsh Premier league cup |

Classic line..Anyway.. I've managed to get Prestatyn to dominate the Welsh league (that's not hard though), only won the Welsh cup once in 15 seasons though, but won the Premier Cup every year I'm always getting f***ed over by international call-ups on semi-final weekend ![]() I've got them to the Quarter-finals of the Champions league 3 times now, has anyone ever gone on to win the Champs League with any Welsh league team? I've managed the Europa League with a cool penalty win over Spurs after a 1-1 draw in the final, and beat Inter on penalties in the resulting Super Cup the following season also on penalties, but after a 0-0 draw

on the first "football manager" i won the champs league three seasons on the trot with Oswestry town after about 20 seasons in charge, and i have never had that level of success again.
wales is, imo, the funnest league on the game. with neath i think its important to keep Castan for as long as you can, and to hope yyou get as many fan days as possible as they have a 10k stadium. the really annoying thing is the platry 1.7k you get for a league win...... europe is the only way ive ever made any cash, and through the sale of regens. |
